- My love of bikes goes way back, as with most folks I started to ride as soon as my lil legs could pedal & I haven't really stopped since. From little kids bikes to BMX to MTB's & road bikes, I've owned & loved them all. Love the tech side of bicycles & always have to take things apart to see how they work & try & make them better. Made some great friends through bikes & look forward to meeting some more…

ReplyDeleteIts done by Oxford riders and they are often at that park (cuttslow, there are some pics on the site). I think its OK, vibe wise. Maybe post on the message board and get some Oxford riders to meet you there. They are mostly good lads
Heard a rumour a while back that the park had been buried (literally!) by the council (diggers) due to noise problems!??!

Hey Al, what street is the park off? I remember we rode down the tow path of the river/canal from Walton st (I think?) I was trying to find aerial foto's on multimap for the place....
ReplyDeleteYou got the wrong park there. The one you are thinking about (not the one in the pic) was in Jerich and it was buried by the council. They built a replica (to save on design costs) in cuttslow. Its near the summertown roundabout(A40, northern bypas) right where there is a new footbridge. This was ment to be the site for the "Bowled, transition" oxford park with the "Street, ledge" park in Jerico. Bloody Council!
