It looks more like a lookback to me, and I dont think the turndown was "invented" till the late 80s (on vert), even though people had been doing "goofy" (or "switch footed", or maybe "wrong way") lookbacks for ages and thats the same as a turn down really. We had 3 bikes on the bonnet of a beetle and got stopped by police. We had to take the bikes apart and cram them on the back seats.

What I remember the most about the old issues of the magazines when I was a whipper-snapper was how awe struck we were with each release of a magazine, especially BMX Action & Plus. It was like these people where living a dream! how impressionable were we!?!?
