yo al & wilco whats your views on the trickstar ll thinkin of maybe gettin one?....... do you know of any other sites that sell old school(skool?) stuff?
I dont think there is much that is classic old school with 990 mounts. Maybe the early 90s haros but they have got the nasty standing things on the chainstays. I think the only nice old frames with platforms are also Haros and GTs (oh, and the trickstar). Sorry if thats no help. (BTW, I just got some lovely fly stuff today)
I got a U Brake and a stem. I only thought I was getting the DVD (which is real good). I am starting to get the bits together to build a new bike. I got the wheels today and Im going to ask S&M about buying some stuff from them, including a LAF frame.
Chris has one of those LAF's, nice indeed, The S&M crest is machined into the headtube which looks cool as! we await foto's of the finished article then Al ;-)
My love of bikes goes way back, as with most folks I started to ride as soon as my lil legs could pedal & I haven't really stopped since. From little kids bikes to BMX to MTB's & road bikes, I've owned & loved them all.
Love the tech side of bicycles & always have to take things apart to see how they work & try & make them better. Made some great friends through bikes & look forward to meeting some more…
That thing sucks arse! I dont really like the "Real" Trickstar but that one is awful
ReplyDeleteok, bad choice then, what would you recommend? something with ad990 mounts, platform and short
