Favourite Video Sections

I don't care how old or new it is but I wanna know what your fave vid sections are. You can have two choices max & can state the rider - the video (or DVD!) - the music track - & why you like it:

oooh that's a tough one!

  2. ahh its got to be mike aitken in wide awake nightmare with ac/dc its a long way to the top as the music, mate this section is by far the best ever, mikes so stylish and his tricks are always clicked. like his 1 foot tables i mean there more like inverts, also he does a 360 foot plant over some drive way, sick as.

  3. For me, it has to be the section from Road Fools 3 with Chris Staufer, Kris Bennnet, Nate and Shoe-G riding trails. With the Promise Ring : Best looking Boys. This made in the late 90's Staufer rides with the amazing style every did now wants years before the kickouts, etc became 'fashionable'. This section just makes me want to go ride and dig, just symbolizes good times at the trails and the amazing atmosphere at trails. The song goes perfectly, with a real feel good sound to it. Timeless section.

  4. My 1st choice is 'Ginger' Lynn Allen in New Wave Hookers riding DP style with Thom Byron & some other dude to some wicked funk tune with far to much wah-wah pedal action!

Man, she was soo sexy as roller-girl, subsequently ripped off by Heather Graham in Boogie Nights...

"Jeez that bitch came all over the place"

  6. OK back on topic:

Lee Sultimier riding to Motorhead's Ace of Spades in Homeless - Highway to Hell. He rides with tuffs, a cigarette, dark glasses and a t-shirt tied around his head carving around a steep sided pool...

  7. Lee Sultimier again included in the "feelgood" section at the end of Homless Trash. Buthole surfers version of "herdy gurdy man" with Lee doing an endless wheelie on a pedal motorbike round and round a fountain. Just hearing that song in my head makes me wanna go and ride. That vid was all about Austin, back when everyone was still wearing baggy jeans!

Best personal section about capturing the spirit of Riding is 'S&M - Feel my leg muscles, I'm a racer - the section with the Descendants song, where they ride the full pipe and the ditch.

  10. S"really is the"man. As I read the sections you picked the smile on my face got bigger and bigger. I wish I could take a "Time out" on life and spend a week watching old videos. Lets all buy a house together and live together watching worn out BMX tapes.

  13. Sheesh. Gotta agree with what everyone's said already, and I'm stoked someone picked the rooftop section! That first killer rail with "I am Irooonmaaaaaan" pure rules!

Dave Young in "nowhere fast" is awesome, fully spnds the first two minutes of his section taking it plenty hard, then blasts a lot of good rails/ledges both ways, nuts gaps and stuff, lost what the music was though.

Then I was gonna have steve hamilton, but that's gone, so I'll go for a bunch of bits from the old els bells vids. ratboy, scotty frazer, gonz, and mcmurray. And that chris toth guy! "expired".

And that bit on that old video where some dude(s) are riding vert and some other goons are doing commentary/sound effects over the top.

And the whole of road fools one

  14. .....and apart from the jerry section in nails, there was a section at the start somewhere that was really good, poss john dye, riding to some sketchy old english punk band. Maybe. Poss the business? And all the stuff getting blown up in that video, and the horror movie clips. "Hail to the king baby!"

Which kinda leads to me just finished reading bruce campbells autobiography. It's pretty good, if anyone wants a lend?
