New tunes...

I have a thing about Juliette Lewis, I love seeing her in film, so maybe this is (slightly) biased...

Well apart from the numerous films she's starred in which include:
Cape Fear
Strange Days
From Dusk till Dawn
Kalifornia
Natural Born Killers

etc...

...she also has a band called Juliette & the Licks.

I heard some of their stuff from a friend & quite liked it, it's american rock, straight up, I think JL has a good voice & it's quite tuneful stuff. They have a mini album called "like a bolt of lightning" which I picked up at the weekend & also a full length album called "you're speaking my language"

Couple of tracks worth downloading would be "got love to kill" & "I am my fathers daughter" if you should feel like checking Juliette out...

So what have you been listening to?

lunch break over.

alot of misfits, best songs at the moment: die die my darling, scream, skulls, the kkk took my baby away and bullet

    Alexisonfire: accidents, white devil

i dug out some of the old deftones stuff the other day and was listening to that, you forget how good some of it is!

also been listening to social distortion: reach for the sky, dont drag me down, prison bound.. but theyre all good

last but not least Bad religion (my favourite band of all time): 21st century digital boy, sinister rouge, the hippy killers, american jesus

  3. try pillar .... do like the kinda new metal vibe..reminds me of those summers when "new metal" was at a all time high, us all doing road trips in the old rocket( aka escort van)going to gigs and rock nights all the time, turning up at the park driving the van down to the ramps(kinda illegaly) on the path, and blasting the stereo at full chat.........good days!!! found them on flicker records site(mortal treason also signed to this label)

  4. Ian has definitely got a thing for her... we have to listen to them from 9-5. Our only break comes when he's at lunch for 1.5hrs and we get a chance to play some real music!!

I even think he wants to eat her p*ssy more than tarentino does in 'From Dust till Dawn'.

Ian will think I'm a tart for suggesting them, but check out 'The Subways - Young for Eternity' - even if its only to check out the hot jail-bait blonde bass guitarist. It has a few catchy tunes and not bad for a debut album.
