TITANI-YUMMY !!!

anybody who knows me, knows my fetish
for Titanium, so I'd thought I'd give you an
insight into some of the ti stuff I've got
for my new build so far.........
the plan is to have no steel bolts/nuts or
steel axles at all on the new bike..........
so if any knows where to get 1/4" unc ti
bolts ( 30mm long) from please let me know
coz I need 5 and then that'll be my aim
achived.......

  2. the bolts are for the cranks and seat clamp, both rnc... price wise it wasn't that bad : seatclamp £10, driver £40, stem & seat bolt $20( £11 ), front axle, chainring 14mm & 10mm nuts $140 ( £80 )rear axle £40, all the other nuts, bolts & washers were about $30-40 so around £25.... so whats that £206ish.. thats thanks to ebay & bob, I don't think I payed full uk price on anything... duno how much i've lost in weight through all this but for example the 10mm washers weight is 1 gram, the standard odyssey washer is 7 grams, infact the standard odyssey hollow rear axle(steel) weighs as much as the ti axle, ti driver, ti nuts & washers......

  3. nice one, you'll have to weigh it all together & then weigh all the standard parts that are replaced & let us know what the savings are...

    So when's the unveiling then???
